The Air Medic Pro 5 Ultra VOG air purifier features the largest activated carbon bed available in a residential-style air cleaner. It is specifically engineered to filter dangerous pollutants emitted from volcanic smog, or Volcanic Organic Gas (VOG).

Volcanic smog forms when sulfur dioxide (SO₂) and other pollutants from active volcanoes react with oxygen, moisture, dust, and sunlight. This process creates a mix of airborne pollutants that can penetrate deep into the lungs, irritating the eyes, nose, and throat.

This air purifier also provides general filtration for chemicals, gases, odors, and particles found indoors, making it useful even when VOG levels are low.
